A Personal Introduction to the Chaos

Hey new friends,

welcome to my small colorful corner of the internet. My name is Sofi, I'm 19 years old and my interests and hobbies function like dandelion seeds.. that is to say- they spread to random places and then grow uncontrollably. I've mostly just been looking for a place to collect photos and information in yet another futile atempt to organize the cachophanous carousel of my life. I have no particular plan, but I thought in order to start, I would share a few short paragraphs about me.

In terms of basic description, I'm a blonde, average weight, five foot six teenage girl. I spend a lot of time on choosing makeup and accessories each day. My style is colorful and it attracts attention, it pulls influences from Japanese street styles like Decora, Fairy kei and Pop Kei. My co-ords pull inspiration from many other sources, including "90"s pop-culture, cartoon characters, and personal hobbies. My signature makeup look is the under-eye sparkles, stickers, sequins or pearls, inspired by Decora Fashion looks I have seen online. My family finds my extravagance distasteful, but a trait I have always admired in others is fearless individuality, and so I strive to embody that myself.

At home, I have two sisters, my Mother, Father, and my Mother's two parents who live with us. I am the oldest of the three sisters. Our house is large, and easily big enough to accomodate all 7 of us, including our pets. We have three animals in our family, five if you count the fish. My cat, River, lives in my room with me. I often call her my roommate, my best friend and my soulmate. She's a diva and a princess, like most cats are, but in truth I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for her. The fish are mine too, Tyler and Lucy, named by a friend of mine from school. We also have a dog named Mimi and a Chinchilla named Lucky.

I mentioned earlier the dandilion-esque nature of my interests, and how they seem to scatter themselves across wherever they desire. Art has always been an interest of mine, in some form or another. My dreams, wishes and sorrows reflected in shape and color. I stuck to drawing a few things for awhile. First horses, then cats. My interest in fashion is pushing me to draw the human figure more, which is presenting an artistic challenge. I find that all my life, the biggest goal of mine has been to express myself.

my biggest hope through all this is that I will find a way to rekindle a motivation to create.
