Hey marshmallow friends,
Every year on Easter Sunday, we come downstairs to our grandparents' apartment and find colorful baskets lined up in front of the fireplace. This year, thanks to our good friend Covid, we decided to do most of our Easter outside. This, of course, included the baskets. My grandmother got each of us a plant (I named mine Sterling), a craft kit, and some candy. My parents got us each a squishmallow, some candy, and an amazon gift card. I was particularly excited about my squishmallow, because one of the ones I already own is similar. I've decided they're going to get married, stay tuned for the wedding :).
The craft kit I got contained kandi beads and some clips so I can attach things to backpacks.

The beads inside the craft kit were relatively small pony beads. The kit came with three bags of beads. The biggest pack had some really nice pearlescent neon colors, the medium sized pack had the shiny metallic colors, and the smallest pack had small-holed gem beads, jump rings, and a few letter beads. When I first saw the size of the gem beads I was concerned, since the string that came with the kit is so thick, but I figured that I could use fishing line quite easily to string the beads. The clips that came with the kit are an assortment of beautiful pastel colors, and very useful for making bag clips and belt clips. I was thrilled about the colors of the bag clips, and the string will be very useful for decorative projects.

I probably wont use the elements of the bead keychain kit for their intended purpose, but I'm excited to use them as my own craft materials. I will definitely get to make a lot of fun accessories. My plant baby, Sterling, who is currently soaking in some fresh delicious rainwater was the gift that I helped pick out beforehand. He's an Aloe plant with silver sprayed leaves. I wanted a plant baby for my room because i'm hoping to integrate some more routine into my life, which can start by simply watering a plant every few days. i'm hoping i'll be able to get him a friend at some point, but for now he's vibing with some blocks and a plastic unicorn. I'm hoping to get a new pot for him, and maybe decorate it myself.
That should wrap up the Easter posts for this season, I hope you guys had equally as wonderful holidays, and as always,
Thanks for your support,
~Sofi (Pastel Bimbo Babe)
